(1) The local level can develop and manage urban forests in urban areas and settlements within its area, such as public roads and parks, by itself or in partnership with an association or the private sector.
(2) The Divisional Forest Office or the Sub-Divisional Forest Office shall provide the necessary technical support for the development of the urban forest to be established as per sub-section (1).
(3) The forest produce of the urban forest to be established according to sub-section (1) can be used as prescribed by the concerned local level.
